It is located to the south east of the Masjid al-Nabawi. This mosque has been built where Muhammad used to live. The cemetary contains many of Muhammad's relatives and companions as well. Muhammad issued a prayer every time he passed it is just one of the many traditions related to this location. The importance of our beautiful city of Medina is derived from the amazing Al-Masjid al-Nabawi. The Mosque of the Prophet was completed with the Tumb of Prophet Muhammad by the Umayyad Caliph Al-Walid I. End your tour aroung Madinah by paying a visit to the oldest mosque in the world: The Quba Mosque (Quba' Masjid or Masjid al-Quba). Muhammad spent more than 20 nights in this mosque praying qasr.
